Simple Closures is the dream of two registered nurses who, through their experiences in geriatrics, physical rehab, long term care, and home environments know firsthand how frustrating and uncomfortable conventional clothes can be. The Simple Closures line is designed to minimize the challenges of dressing and undressing.

Our highly versatile adaptive clothing is designed specifically for women who experience wide-ranging physical and/or mental challenges. Putting on and taking off clothing, easy for most of us, can be a significant challenge for individuals with physical and mental impairments. Simple Closures styles are designed to make these tasks much easier, for the wearer as well as the assistants and caregivers.

Fashion and Simplicity

Simple Closures styles are designed by well-known San Francisco designer, Joanie Char. Every jacket, top, and pair of slacks is constructed from high quality, stretchable, washable fabrics. Styles are designed for fashionable looks as well as simplicity of use. Special easy-access features incorporated into every design are virtually invisible while the garment is being worn.

Our mission is to provide high-quality, stylish clothing that adapts to the needs of differently abled women, to greatly improve their quality of life and help instill a positive self-image. Psychological wellbeing is an often overlooked but critically important aspect of living with physical and mental impairments, hence, our motto: Look Good, Feel Good!
